An active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Richard L. Beck is certified in the specialty of plastic surgery as well as in general surgery. Dr. Beck earned his M.D. from Hahnemann Medical College in 1957, served his internship at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, and was a general surgery resident for three years at the Mayo Clinic and three years at the Kings County Medical Center, in Brooklyn, N.Y. (including one year as a fellow of the American Cancer Society).
