What can you really say about New York City that hasn't already been said? Let's start with basics: New York City is situated at the southeastern tip of New York. In the world spectrum, The New York metro area has almost 23M people who claim it as home and that ranks it among the largest metro areas in the world. New York City has neighborhoods and landmarks known around the world. There are almost too many to outline. The Statue of Liberty greeted so many immigrants on their arrival to the US in the past centuries. And then later those same immigrants made their fortunes on Wall Street, it's the stuff the American dream is made of. The city is the origin of important American cultural movements, including the Harlem Renaissance. Almost 170 languages are spoken in this world class city.
